Piccas

So I've been fiddling with Google's "Picasa" photo album system. It's pretty spiffy, and I didn't want to worry about signing up for yet another service, which is why I'm glad that over time Google is covering pretty much anything I'd want to sign up for.

Anyways, I finally have some cheap, low-res copies of some of my art class projects uploaded into a gallery: http://picasaweb.google.com/kasha.re/AR101IntroductionToDrawing. My teacher pinned them to the wall and took pictures of them with his digital camera. The first half turned out better than the second have, but this is all I have for now, so aa well. I'll have to work out something for getting any future drawings scanned at better resolutions and stuff.

The one with the iron is my favorite -- it reminds me of some scratchboard work I did once.

Ya, I remember doing a scratch board drawing of a chipmunk or something out of a magazine as a kid. This was a totally different experience.. probably mostly from drawing something 3D and all the reflections involved. The scratch board was a lot easier to do, but this was also a lot more interesting and I think it's really helped me learn some things about drawing.
