Did not get week off that had requested months ago because this week was to be very busy (based on no evidence whatever). Instead this week has been slow, which has been nice for its own sake, but is disappointing to not have had this week off when it could easily have been done.

In any case, have Thursday and Friday off and will be heading to NYC with mmsword tonight. (Came to NJ last night to split the trip up, and will be leaving tonight to rest most of tomorrow and recover from long drive before concert thingy.) Have no particular plans for Friday, Saturday or Sunday, except possibly visiting with sixteenbynine if he's available and possibly seeing the new Indy movie. Also probably looking for a crazy NYC restaurant that will be safe for me.

And now I work on getting myself together to be ready to leave when mmsword arrives.
