Dear Marylanders,

How are you voting on the local level tomorrow and why?  This is for Baltimore County residents especially.  I have my voter information and a polling station within walking distance, but I'd like to be as informed as possible before submitting my votes tomorrow.  I do not know who these judges are, and I could always use additional information about the ordinances up for vote.

I think I'd like to vote against the state gambling amendment, for instance, because about 10 percent of the proceeds would support the horse-racing industry according to this summary, amongst some secondary reasons.  Is there anything else I should know? I'd be interested to learn how people feel about the charter to remove the block for state employees from serving on the county council.  Is this a good thing or a bad thing, and why?  I'm not familiar enough with this stuff.
