Update on Vlad's Health, Part II

So, Vladimir spent a couple days at the clinic recovering from some exploratory surgery.  They found a penis!  He is, in fact, a very unfortunate boy.  They did not manage to reveal his testicles but assured us they are present and buried.  For now, he needs to rest and recover while wearing a silly, little, flimsy, blue, plastic thing around his neck to keep him from biting at his stitches.  Those come off in about two weeks, after which more work can be done.  In the meantime, it's looking like he will fly back to Arizona with Heather, who's been visiting and will be his new mommy.  I don't know all the specific details, and I'll be heading to New York City, thusly missing his departure.  Medical records will be exchanged, appointments will be made for vets in Arizona, and Vlad shall hopefully have a wonderful new lease on life.

Check with sweetbastet if you have any further questions, as I think the amount of money we got in donations has covered at least most of the procedures so far.  The doctor gave us some major discounts and performed surgery on a weekend, when he normally wouldn't be available, so he will definitely get plenty of referrals.  Here's hoping this little story is well on its way to a happy ending.
